This week, the international conference for young marine scientists ICYMARE 2025 BREMERHAVEN takes place. It kicks off Monday evening with an icebreaker evening at the Thünen Institute, and starting Tuesday, September 9, there are four full days of lectures, poster presentations, workshops, and plenty of time for discussion and networking at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences. The NWV initiative ICYMARE will exhibit its photo exhibition “Junge Meeresforschende bei der Arbeit” at the Haus der Wissenschaft Bremen. The 34 captivating images are the best submissions from a photo competition and show the dedication and passion with which young researchers pursue their work. Everyone is cordially invited to the opening on Wednesday, August 13, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on display from August 14 to October 22, 2025. Admission is free.
